It’s practically breakfast, but makes a great dessert. Why not have it for both? Dessert, then leftovers for breakfast! YES! I won’t judge.
Cinnamon Roll Peach Cobbler
I took the peach pie filling from my peach crumble recipe and combined it with the simplicity of store-bought cinnamon rolls and created this delicious peach cobbler.
If you’d rather keep it classic you can grab my easy peach cobbler recipe, but let me tell you. The cinnamon rolls add a great flavor to the peaches, without turning them brown from adding a lot of the spice directly to the fruit.
It’s so good, I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to traditional peach cobbler.
Ingredients
For this easy cinnamon roll peach cobbler recipe you will need:
- Peaches – Fresh peaches are preferred, but you can use frozen or canned peaches too.
- Granulated Sugar – To sweeten the peach filling.
- Cornstarch – To thicken the peach filling.
- Lemon Juice – To brighten the fruit flavor.
- Cinnamon – Just a hint, for added flavor.
- Rhodes AnyTime!® Cinnamon Rolls – The taste of real, homemade yeast cinnamon rolls without all the work. Found in a box in the freezer section. Comes with a packet of cream cheese frosting to top the peach cobbler with.
I love using the Rhodes AnyTime!® Cinnamon Rolls because you can use them immediately without waiting for them to rise first.
Plus, the taste of real yeast dough beats any biscuit-type cinnamon roll from a can, and it’s just as easy.
How to Make Cinnamon Roll Peach Cobbler
- Peel, core, and slice peaches into 3/4-inch pieces. Place in a large bowl. Add granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
- Stir peaches and empty fruit into a lightly greased 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Open the package of Rhodes AnyTime!® Cinnamon Rolls. Cut each roll into fourths. (This helps distribute the rolls evenly.)
- Stagger cinnamon roll pieces on top of the peach mixture.
Baking and Topping
Cover the pan with foil and bake the cinnamon roll peach cobbler at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes.
Then remove the foil and bake an additional 25 minutes or until the peach filling bubbles, and the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and baked completely underneath — where the bread touches the fruit.
Total bake time will be 50-60 minutes.
Warm the cream cheese frosting packet (that comes with the cinnamon rolls) in your hands. Cut off the corner and drizzle the frosting over the warm cinnamon rolls.
Best eaten warm!!!
Storage and Tips
- To Store: Cover the pan of cobbler with foil and store at room temperature (68-72˚F) for 2-3 days, or in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
- To Reheat: Place some of the cinnamon roll peach cobbler on a plate and nuke it in the microwave for 20-30 seconds, or until warmed through.
- Fresh Peaches: Fresh peaches are preferred in this recipe. Use about 2.5-3 pounds, approximately 6-8 peaches depending on size, to equal 5 cups sliced.
- To use frozen peaches: Thaw peaches completely and drain the juices. Then complete the recipe as written.
- To use canned peaches: Use canned peaches in 100% juice and drain them first. Pat dry with a paper towel. Then complete the recipe as written.
- To use peach pie filling: You may simply use 1-2 cans of peach pie filling in place of the ingredients to make the filling from scratch. Adjust bake time as needed.

My city doesn’t carry these cinnamon rolls in any stores….. they used to but can no longer find them. Any suggestions on what to substitute? Sounds like a delicious recipe, we all like peach cobbler.
That’s a huge bummer! I’d double check the store locator first because the real cinnamon rolls are worth using.

If you still can’t find them, you could probably substitute the large biscuit cinnamon rolls, but they will probably cook up faster.
