The first time I tried this Brazilian Lemonade was at a restaurant called Tucanos (Brazilian Grill). I was immediately hooked! It was refreshing, sweet, citrusy, and creamy all in one drink!

The best part was the unlimited refills, but since I don’t make it out to that restaurant more than once a year, I’ve made my own version at home and I can have it any time I want!

The secret ingredient that makes this limeade so delicious is sweetened condensed milk! I could drink that straight from the can as it is, but put it in limeade and it’s a whole new level of delicious! Sweet and tangy, this drink will be gone in a flash!

Brazilian or swiss, whatever you call it it’s delicious! We make this every summer and for all of our pool parties. Always a hit!

One of our faves too! Thanks Jesseca!

  2. I am Brazilian and I’ve never seen this in my all life, sorry!! Lemonade is with lime, water and sugar 😋

Amber thank you for sharing this recipe. I’m giving my Daughter a Baby Shower and several of the guests are Brazilian and Portuguese I would love to serve this at the Shower. How would I make a large batch of it?
    Thanks so much, Di Antonetti

You can make it in batches ahead of time. Or do everything but the sweetened condensed milk, and add that just before serving. I think it’s fine either way. We store and enjoy this drink for a few days in the refrigerator just fine. Enjoy!

Yummmmmmy!!! This is delicious as is, but a splash of rum wouldn’t ruin it!

Hi this sounds so dang good. I have everything I need to make it, but you know there’s a but, lol what happens if I don’t drink it all after adding the scmilk? Can I keep it for a day safely? I don’t see any info on that. Oh to the haters out there, it’s just the name of this amazing drink. Don’t get so upset. Thanks for the great recipe. Please answer quick I’m so wanting to make this.

Hello Miss Gigi! This drink will still be fine for a few days even with the sweetened condensed milk added. It’s best fresh though. Keep any leftovers refrigerated. Enjoy!

  6. This is good, kinda reminds me of a creamsicles but with limes. Yummy,

    1. Amber | Dessert Now Dinner Later says:

Yeah, that’s a good way to describe it!

  7. David Mellish says:

Amber sounds great I will try this , I realize it’s a Brazilian recipe and that’s the important part and the Brazilian’s call it Swiss because of the milk … so you should call it Brazilian Swiss Lemonade. And to me it’s hilarious that it’s not even made from lemons. Hahaha

  8. Julia Fittipaldi says:

This is funny cause here in Brazil we call this kind of lemonade “swiss lemonade”! This is not Brazilian lemonade, I’m sorry – but it tastes really good!

    1. Amber | Dessert Now Dinner Later says:

Oh I understand. You’re not the first one to correct me about this. In Utah, we have several Brazilian churrasco type restaurants that have this drink and call it “Brazilian Lemonade.” So this is a copycat version of their drink.

  9. Andréia Silva says:

Brazilian lemonade is not like this hahaha but looks really good
