Instant Strawberry Banana Frozen Yogurt
With only 5 ingredients and 5 minutes or less in the food processor (or blender), you can have this healthy Instant Strawberry Banana Frozen Yogurt!
We are in full swing of summer here and my kids and I can’t get enough cold treats! The only problem with a lot of store-bought frozen goodies is that they are loaded with high fructose corn syrup or other sugars. Well, problem solved! I can make a super-fast, soft-serve, real-fruit frozen yogurt in less than 5 minutes any time I want to!
It only takes frozen fruit, some lemon juice, a little honey (as much or as little as you need depending on the tartness of your fruit), and some non-fat Greek yogurt! Today’s variety is strawberry-banana! Whenever my bananas start to brown, I peel them, break them in fourths and throw them in a zip-top bag in the freezer to use for smoothies, or I’ll thaw them for banana bread, and now I also use them for instant frozen yogurt! Definitely start freezing those bananas!

In 1 to 5 minutes, depending on how frozen your fruit is and how good of a food processor you own, you will have soft-serve frozen yogurt! My favorite! I hate solid frozen ice cream, soft-serve is my preference, so this is perfect for me! Plus, since it’s made of fresh fruit and non-fat, protein packed Greek yogurt, I can have it way more often without cursing the scale!
You can totally freeze this too though, if you prefer a FROZEN yogurt. Warm up your ice cream scoop under some hot water before you scoop it out and you are golden!
