This Oreo Fudge whips up fast, with only 3 ingredients! Perfect for Christmas neighbor plates!
The holidays call for all sorts of fudge and candy! Luckily this Oreo Fudge doesn’t require any technical equipment like a candy thermometer. It’s only 3 ingredients and as easy as can be!
The thing I love about fudge is that you only need a tiny square to satisfy that chocolate craving! Plus, this fudge has my FAVORITE Oreo cookies throughout!

I mentioned before that this recipe only takes 3 ingredients… it’s true! You need Oreo cookies, sweetened condensed milk, and a high quality vanilla/white chocolate chip. I HIGHLY recommend Guittard chocolate because there is no wax in it like some of the other brands. It melts beautifully and creates a smooth fudge.
I don’t know about you, but candy making is kind of intimidating. The candy thermometers, the special techniques, etc. This recipe really is a no brainer. Melt the white chocolate with the sweetened condensed milk, add bits of Oreo cookies, spread it into a pan, and let it sit until firm. That’s it!
I like to make a variety plate of treats to pass out to neighbors for the holidays, and with a recipe this simple, I won’t be in the kitchen all day!

Oreo Fudge
Ingredients
- 14 oz (396 g) can sweetened condensed milk
- 18 oz (510 g) high quality white chocolate chips, (approximately 1 ½ bags or 3 cups)
- 3 cups Oreos, chopped (approximately 20 regular Oreo cookies)
- Optional: ⅛ tsp salt
Instructions
- Prepare an 8×8-inch pan with wax or parchment paper that comes up the sides of the pan so you can pull out the whole slab of fudge once it sets.
- Melt the white chocolate chips with the sweetened condensed milk (and salt – optional) in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
- Stir in the chopped Oreo cookies, saving a few pieces to press into the top.
- Pour mixture into prepared pan. Quickly spread fudge evenly with a spatula. Press extra chopped Oreo cookies on top. Let rest at room temperature until set. (Refrigerating the fudge will help it set faster.)
- Pull the fudge slab out of the pan using the edges of the parchment paper. Using a warm, dry knife, cut squares. Store at room temperature in an airtight container for 5 to 7 days.

How long do you let it set? I doubled the batch and let it set on the counter for like, i would say 30-45 minutes then put in the fridge for a good hour and when I went to cut it, it seemed pretty tacky still? Maybe I did something wrong. I added the Oreos as soon as it was all melted. It tastes amazing (I love Oreos) but was sad it wasn’t more form.
Mine set up fine in the refrigerator, but I wasn’t ready to take my pictures until it had sat in the refrigerator overnight, so maybe it needs more time. If it doesn’t set up, try melting 6oz (1/2 bag) more white chocolate chips into it.
Just tried Making this for a party tonight. Thought I’d try the holiday ones with the red crew filling. The filing melted as soon as I stirred them in. Looks like we’ll be having red fudge! LoL
I may try it with other holidays and the colored cream filling in the future- but only on purpose!

How does this keep when sitting out in room temperature? We will be flying down south and wont be able to make it where we are going so I am going to make it before we leave as a treat for my husband. He wants a taste of home made sweets before deploying so I cant disappoint! 😉

I just tried to make this and I think 3 cups of Oreos is too many as my mixture I just poured in the pan is dark and you can barely see white? 🙁 Never made fudge before but thought 3 ingredients might be easy!
I’ll take the blame for that. I put “crushed” instead of “roughly chopped” in the directions, so I’m sure you ended up with a lot more than I used. I just fixed the recipe to say “roughly chopped” and I guessed how many Oreos I used (around 20). Sorry for that!
It’s no problem at all. When I was done I went and read some other recipes and figured I had crushed too many Oreos. It turned out grey BUT it does taste great and I will aspire to make it look prettier on the next batch. Thank you for a simple and tasty recipe!

Anyone tried freezing?
I haven’t frozen this fudge, but as a general rule: fudge should be frozen in freezer containers or freezer bags to prevent ice crystals and freezer burn. Also, fudge stored in a sturdy airtight container will last longer than just wrapped in foil in the freezer.
I put it in the freezer to speed up the gardening process, turned out great!
With a fudge recipe this easy, I think it’s guaranteed that I would eat the entire batch and then probably go back again and make another! 😉
