Sunrise Smoothie
Wake up happy with this Sunrise Smoothie full of bright and refreshing citrus and tropical fruits!
I’m a fruit smoothie girl. (Not a chocolate or peanut butter smoothie type.) I’m also trying to get more greens into mine so they are healthier, but for today, let’s just go with plain fruit, okay?
This is one of my favorite combos because it’s a creamy, frothy texture with a pretty pale color, and the combination of fruits make me feel refreshed and ready for my day.

It’s also a good one to throw spinach in IF you wanted to sneak some veggies into your diet. (And it will be GREEN. If you add berries to your green smoothie, it might be brown. Not so appetizing.)
As a side note, I’ve had my Blendtec blender since about New Year’s Eve 2014. That’s almost 6 1/2 months now, which is roughly 194 days. I obviously use this thing at least once a day if I have 238 blends going on already! It’s worth the price, if you’re looking for a great blender.
The best way to blend smoothies is to have your liquid on the bottom (milk, water, juice), then add the soft items (yogurt, fresh fruit), then add the hard items (ice, frozen fruits). Then hit the smoothie button (the second one from the left) and voila! Your smoothie is ready! Smooth as can be and oh so frothy! Enjoy!

Oh that’s so great! I hope you find some things you want to try! P.S. My kids like to call banana ice cream, “banana swirl” thanks to Daniel Tiger on PBS, haha.
Almond Butter!!
Chocolate milkshake. Or maybe a copycat Wendy’s Frosty.
I left the wrong name for YouTube! It’s Heather Kinser not darnheather. Blah.
I would make a peanut butter chocolate almond milk smoothie for my kids. It’s their favorite.
